For nearly a century, the international hostel movement has gathered people of the world together in an atmosphere of friendship and respect, expanding their worlds through educational travel.

Hostels around the globe promote interaction among travelers, provide a sense of place, increase awareness of the natural world, and encourage cross-cultural understanding and international friendship.

Our Hostel Adventure programs grew out of the hostelling tradition, and are ultimately designed to promote environmental stewardship and responsible travel. From environmental education to travel workshops, Hostel Adventures are interactive, experiential education programs that encourage the exploration of our natural environment, our local communities, and other cultures around the world.
